Terms of Use

1. Eligibility and Agreement

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms where required by law.

You may use the Services only if you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and your use of the Services is permitted by applicable law.

2. The PlotoShort Service

PlotoShort provides access to short-form drama and entertainment content and related discovery, playback, and account features.

PlotoShort is designed as an advertising-supported service. Unless we clearly state otherwise for a specific feature, no subscription fee is required to access the core advertising-supported viewing experience. You remain responsible for any Internet, mobile-data, device, or carrier charges incurred when using the Services.

The availability of particular content, features, languages, territories, or functionality may change over time. We do not guarantee that any particular title or feature will always remain available.

3. Advertising

The Services may display advertisements provided by us or third-party advertising service providers. Advertising helps support free access to PlotoShort.

Advertisements and linked advertiser websites, products, or services are provided by third parties unless expressly stated otherwise. We do not control every advertiser or external destination and are not responsible for third-party products, services, representations, or transactions, except as required by applicable law.

If you encounter an advertisement that you believe is inappropriate, misleading, or age-inappropriate, please use any reporting option available in the app or contact us at artu_developer@ujumedia.com.

Our handling of information in connection with advertising is described in the PlotoShort Privacy Policy. In particular, we do not use your PlotoShort viewing history, content preferences, favorites, or search history to build advertising profiles or select targeted advertisements.

4. Accounts and Account Security

Some features may require or allow you to create an account. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account. Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or another security issue.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or respond to fraud, abuse, or security risks.

5. Permitted Use and Prohibited Conduct

Subject to these Terms, Company grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable right to access and use the Services and view content made available through them for your personal, non-commercial entertainment use.

You agree not to:

• use the Services in violation of applicable law or third-party rights;
• copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, sell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit content except where expressly permitted by law or by us;
• circumvent digital rights management, access controls, geographic restrictions, security features, or technical measures used to protect the Services or content;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, index, extract, or systematically download data or content from the Services by automated means without our written permission;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the Services except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law;
• introduce malware, harmful code, bots, scripts, or other technology intended to interfere with or damage the Services;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, or information;
• manipulate advertising, impressions, clicks, rewards, engagement metrics, recommendations, or other service measurements through fraudulent or automated activity;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; or
• use the Services in a way that materially interferes with another user or imposes an unreasonable load on our systems.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

The Services, including software, interfaces, text, graphics, logos, designs, audio, video, short-drama episodes, compilations, and other materials made available through PlotoShort (collectively, "Content"), are owned by or licensed to Company and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited right to access and view Content under these Terms, no right, title, or interest in the Services or Content is transferred to you.

You may not remove, alter, or obscure copyright, trademark, service-mark, attribution, digital-rights, or other proprietary notices associated with the Services or Content.

7. Feedback and Communications

If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other non-confidential communications about the Services, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use and incorporate that feedback for the purpose of operating, improving, and developing the Services, without an obligation to compensate you.

This section does not transfer ownership of personal information, which remains subject to our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may include third-party software, advertisements, content, links, or integrations. Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

We do not control third-party websites or services and do not endorse or assume responsibility for them merely because they are accessible through PlotoShort. You use third-party services at your own risk, subject to applicable law.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the Services, including particular content or features, for business, operational, legal, licensing, security, or technical reasons.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous access. Maintenance, network failures, third-party service failures, content-licensing changes, or events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.

10. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. If account deletion is available within the app, you may use that feature; you may also contact us to request account deletion.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, engaged in fraud or abuse, or if suspension is required to protect the Services, other users, or third parties.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services and Content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Company and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from harmful components, or that all Content will be accurate, complete, or continuously available. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Company and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of Company for claims arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid directly to Company for the Services during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Company and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your material violation of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Services, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply where you live, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and revise the "Last Updated" date. If required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes. Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

16. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and Company concerning your use of the Services, except where additional feature-specific terms expressly apply.
